ABSTRACT: This 45-minute session explores the integration of AI into language teaching, showcasing Chat GPT as a time-saving teacher assistant. By the end of the workshop, participants will gain practical insights to optimize their teaching and utilize powerful AI tools. BIODATA: Esra Ezici received her bachelor’s degree from Hacettepe University in 2000. She has been involved in ELT ever since then, working as a teacher, foreign languages coordinator, and teacher trainer. She holds a certificate in teaching young learners from the Norwich Institute of Language Education, a teacher trainer certificate from Pilgrims, and an online tutoring certificate from International House. In addition to teaching English at all levels, she has reviewed several ELT materials for publishers. She has experience in curriculum design and integrating technology into education. She has delivered training both online and f2f on a wide range of ELT topics in Turkiye, Vietnam, Thailand, Jordan, and Kazakhstan. Currently, she is a Senior Professional Development Consultant and a teacher trainer for Turkiye, North Africa, and Central Asia at Oxford University Press. She also works internationally as an Oxford Teachers’ Academy trainer.
