We all seem to be suffering from the same problem, mixed ability classes. Differentiation is the most common remedy advocated by many. This widely accepted solutions implementation and the potential risks are listed in Devrim’s talk where he also airs a few alternative options. BIODATA:
Devrim Özdemir was born and brought up in London and has been involved in ELT for the last twenty years, with teaching and teacher-training experience in primary and secondary schools and universities in Turkey, England and China focusing primarily on classroom management, personalised teaching and learning and interactive teaching/learning techniques in his training sessions. Devrim is currently the Ankara Region Key Account Sales Manager for Macmillan Education Turkey.  In addition to this, he also occasionally continues to teach EAP courses every summer at the University of Leicester in the UK
