‘’Snackability’’. Bite-size activities for Generation Z.
TARGET AGE GROUP: 11-18 year olds
It is commonly believed that the attention span of students is decreasing generation by generation, with millennials and generation Z able to focus for only a few minutes. This workshop-style presentation introduces a variety of short activities while demonstrating the need to move quickly and efficiently between apps, websites and documents in order to maintain attention.
In this workshop, we will demonstrate a variety of short language and skills-based activities, both with and without technology. Each activity is designed to engage a class for a short time, but when they are presented in succession and without interruption, students’ attention can be held for a full lesson.
