If They’re Laughing – They’re Learning
TARGET AGE GROUP: Primary and Middle School
Laughter, especially from children, is one of the best sounds in the world. One can instantly understand that someone is having a good time. Bringing joy to our classrooms is a goal we all strive for, but did you know that laughter also helps with learner outcomes? When students laugh they are more likely to remember, it builds a sense of community and it lets their guard down.
In this workshop, I will look at what it means to use humor correctly versus being silly, participate in some hilarious tasks and chuckle our way to a deeper understanding of laughter in the classroom.
